Blends built around your brand — not pulled from a catalog
A custom tea blend starts with your market, not our warehouse.
A custom tea blend starts with your market, not our warehouse. Whether you need a slimming tea for the US market, a detox blend for the Middle East, or a calming sleep tea for European retailers, our R&D team develops the recipe to your brief and your compliance requirements.
Note for retail shoppers: we are a B2B manufacturer. We develop and manufacture custom tea blends for brands, wholesalers, and retailers — wholesale and private label only.
Blend categories we develop
- Functional blends — slimming/detox, sleep, digestion, immunity, women's health, eye health, blood sugar support. Production examples include 30-day slimming tea, dandelion internal-heat & lymph relief tea, lion's mane mushroom clove tea, and hormone-balance herbal teas.
- Flavor teas — fruit, floral, mint, and dessert profiles layered over green, black, oolong, or herbal bases.
- Single-origin & herbal bases — built on quality base teas selected for your price tier.
Each blend is taste-approved by you before production. Read how our blend development process works →
Formats
- Tea bags (pyramid, flat, string-and-tag) →

Who we are
Guangzhou Wansongtang Biological Technology Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Wansongtang Health Group, founded in 1996. Our Guangzhou company was established in 2011 and operates from Guangzhou, Guangdong, China. We are a contract manufacturer serving brands, wholesalers, and retailers through OEM, ODM, private label, and wholesale programs. Our main export brand is Winstown, alongside Wansongtang and Daynee.
Our product range extends well beyond tea. Alongside functional, flavor, and herbal teas, we manufacture instant powders, gummies, tablet candy, capsules, softgels, patches, and jelly. That range matters to buyers building a full product line: you can source a tea SKU, a gummy SKU, and a capsule SKU from one qualified supplier instead of coordinating several vendors, each with its own MOQs, timelines, and documentation.
We export to 30+ countries and regions across North America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Southeast Asia. On Alibaba, our main markets are Africa at 50%, North America at 20%, and Southeast Asia at 10%. We hold a 4.6/5 rating across 53 Alibaba reviews, respond within 4 hours, maintain 99.5% on-time dispatch, and have processed US$140,000+ in online orders.
Why buyers choose a specialist contract manufacturer
Developing a tea blend in-house means sourcing ingredients, finding a blender, finding a packer, managing compliance, and absorbing the cost of every failed trial. A contract manufacturer consolidates those steps. You bring the market insight and the brand; we bring formulation, ingredient sourcing, blending, packing, quality control, and export documentation.
The practical advantages:
- Speed. Our standard cycle runs roughly 15 days from approved brief to finished packed product — far faster than standing up your own supply chain.
- Portfolio breadth. We develop around 20 new products per year and hold 20 invention patents, so your brief is rarely a first-of-its-kind request for our R&D team.
- Compliance coverage. Certifications are in place for the markets you sell into, which shortens the path from purchase order to shelf.
- Scalability. Retail-pack programs and bulk OEM programs are quoted separately, so you can start small and scale as volume grows.
How the development process works
1. Brief
You share target market, positioning, desired function or flavor direction, format, packaging style, and price tier. The clearer the brief, the faster the first sample.
2. Formulation
Our R&D team develops the recipe against your brief, selecting base teas and ingredients appropriate to your price tier and compliance requirements.
3. Sampling and tasting approval
Samples are sent for your tasting approval. Nothing moves to production until you approve the blend. Adjustments at this stage are normal and expected.
4. Packaging
Once the blend is approved, packaging is finalized — bag style, outer carton, labeling, and any market-specific artwork requirements.
5. Production and QC
Blending and packing take place in our 100,000-class clean workshops. Two QA/QC inspectors oversee quality control through the run.
6. Export packing and dispatch
Finished goods are packed for export and dispatched. Our on-time dispatch rate is 99.5%.
Minimum order quantities
MOQs depend on format:
- Tea retail-pack programs start from roughly 100–120 bags/boxes.
- Gummies and tablets start from roughly 100–150 boxes.
- Bulk OEM is quoted per project, since volume, ingredient cost, and packaging all vary.
If you are launching a new brand and want to test the market before committing to volume, retail-pack MOQs let you start lean. If you are an established wholesaler moving container volume, bulk OEM is quoted to your specification.
What to look for in a custom tea blend manufacturer
Not every supplier that can blend tea can support a branded retail launch. When evaluating manufacturers, check:
- Certifications relevant to your destination market. ISO9001, ISO22000, HACCP, and GMP standards cover quality systems; HALAL matters for Middle East and Muslim-majority markets; FDA registration and export food enterprise filing support US and export shipments.
- Clean-room production. Blending and packing in controlled workshops reduces contamination risk. Ask what class of clean workshop is used.
- Format range. Can the supplier handle pyramid bags, flat bags, string-and-tag bags, and loose leaf — or only one format? Format flexibility protects your packaging roadmap.
- Sampling before commitment. You should taste and approve the blend before production. A supplier unwilling to sample is a red flag.
- Realistic MOQs and lead times. Confirm both in writing per project, not as general marketing claims.
- Responsiveness. A supplier that replies within hours during the inquiry stage is more likely to communicate well during production.
Tea blends vs. other supplement formats
Tea is often the entry SKU for a wellness brand because it is familiar to consumers and straightforward to position. But tea is not always the right format for every active ingredient. Some considerations:
- Tea suits functional positioning around slimming, detox, sleep, digestion, and immunity, and works well for daily-ritual products.
- Gummies and tablet candy suit consumers who dislike brewing and prefer a chewable format.
- Capsules and softgels suit precise dosing and clinical-style positioning.
- Instant powders suit convenience and on-the-go use.
- Patches and jelly suit differentiated formats that stand out on shelf.
Because we manufacture all of these formats, we can advise on which format fits your ingredient, your market, and your price tier — rather than pushing you toward whatever we happen to run.
Compliance and export support
Exporting food and supplement products requires documentation, not just product. Our certifications — ISO9001, ISO22000, HACCP, GMP standards, HALAL, FDA registration, and export food enterprise filing — support shipments into North America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Southeast Asia. We are also recognized as a National High-Tech Enterprise.
Buyers should still confirm destination-specific requirements with their own regulatory advisors. We provide the manufacturing-side documentation; you own the market-side compliance decision.
